Oh yeah, scored a strut brace from a SSS-R.

Now I can cover my car in NISMO stickers.

Just a question about it. Should the washers at each end of the bar where it connects to the mounts be on opposite sides?
In the picture it can clearly be seen. The thick brassy coloured washers at each end are on opposite sides of the bar. This is giving it a "/" orientation instead of "|". Kinda hard to explain exactly.

Maybe the car it came off had a twisted chassis lol. Yea I'll swap it round once I get the motor back in and everything going again.

Bam!

Bam!

Bam!

Bam!

And thats me done with the buying things. As you can possibly tell I'm rather excited after all this time to nearly be putting the motor back in (after several delays).

The goal is to have the car moving by the end of the month.

Well then, after a couple delays and setbacks...it's still not running. The pressure plate that was with the Excedy clutch didn't fit so for a few days I did odd jobs whilst Dan at Cockram Nissan found and sent me down a new pressure plate.
Whilst doing the odd jobs I found that I need a new CV boot, engine mount and gear shifter boot thingy. Also that a Nissan full gasket kit doesn't come with thermostat gasket and that gearbox sump plugs are stupidly hard to get out.
Anyway, all that needs to be done now is put the intake,turbo/exhaust, CV's and hoses/piping back on and it should be able to run under its own steam.

Pics of where I'm at:

As it sits now,

The motor just before it went in (don't worry I took the rags out just for the photo.) Notice the hollow engine mount, if anyone has this specific engine mount lying round and in good condition I would be happy to purchase it from them.
