how well was it running before the transplant?
this is, like most questions like it, hard to diagnose over
a forum, even more so with little information.
best bet is take it to a good mechanic.
get them to plug it in. _________________ From the day we're born we are dying so man up & get on with it!!!

well mine was running good when cold, then starting running nasty as it got warmer. I got a second hand distibutor and it fixed it, still got a slight flat spot at bout 2.5k revs. _________________

Whilst this may not be helpful I will throw it out there because you never know: On my car, the aftermarket Link ECU has a think called crank enrichment. This just sends more fuel down the lines when its cold to assist starting. Now I'm not sure if your running a stock ECU or if this even has any relivance but it could be something to google around a bit for.
Or perhaps if you have a spare ECU you could plug in a test as they do get worn out and start to cause weird problems. For example a mate has a mivec mirage that wasnt switching cam profiles because his capacitors on his ECU were bust. This meant that he would rev out at about 6K. 1 2nd hand ECU later everything is going sweet. |
